Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art is a not-for-profit foundation based in London, founded in 2004 by Dr Ziba Ardalan. Operating purely for the public benefit, it is dedicated to supporting artists and their creative endeavour, curating exhibitions, projects, publications and education programmes in London and internationally.

How did we help?
For Parasol unit we have fully designed and developed a comprehensive website solution tailored to their unique needs. Using WordPress as the core platform with a fully bespoke theme, we created a clean, gallery-like website that lets the artwork take centre stage while giving the Parasol unit team a flexible and user-friendly way to manage their content.
We carefully mapped out the site structure to showcase current and upcoming exhibitions, publications and the foundation’s history, along with a full archive of past exhibitions, projects, education and events. Dedicated sections for artist fellows, sponsors and partners, grants and trustees help tell the story of the foundation’s work and the artists it supports.
The result is an elegant, responsive website that reflects Parasol unit’s commitment to contemporary art, performs efficiently across all devices, and makes it simple for visitors to explore exhibitions, sign up to the newsletter and get in touch.
